Yesterday (Tuesday 2/9/21) the Narberth Fire Company responded to a detached garage fire in the Borough.
First to arrive on scene was Assistant 26-2 who found the garage well involved with fire. Chief 26 and FM 34-1 arrived on scene next and Chief 26 established command and positioned Engine 26 on the street in front of the residence and ordered that the preconnected attack lines be stretched .
Squad 22 established a water supply from the fire hydrant to Engine 26 and 2 handlines were deployed to put the fire out.
The fire was extinguished quickly and everyone went home safely with the help of our Public Safety partners who also responded to the scene.
